The Sirat Rug is made for moments of returning to the path. The arch is a doorway, through which runs the straight path to the One beyond.
It is hand-felted from local undyed sheep's wool by a women’s cooperative in Tejerouine. Felt-making is physical and patient: wool, soap, water, and movement coming together until separate fibers become one.
The Sirat Rug is ~125cm by 70cm. Every handmade rug is unique.
